How to Manage Completed Sessions and Signed Documents
Once your remote notarization sessions are complete, Notary.io makes it easy to access, review, and download your signed documents.
- Log in to your Notary.io account.
- Click on the Sessions tab from the left-hand menu.
- Use the filter options (e.g. Completed, Date Range, Notary) to find past sessions.
- Click on any session labeled Completed to open the session summary.
- From the session details page, locate the signed document(s) section.
- Click Download to save the notarized document to your device.
- If needed, click View Audit Trail to review the session’s identity checks, timestamps, and activity log.
- Use the search bar to quickly locate sessions by client name, session title, or matter number.
- You can re-send a completed document to a client by selecting Share or Email Copy from the session page.
- Keep all documents organized by using consistent client/matter labeling when creating sessions.
Tip: Subject to the document retention policy set on your Notary.io account the signed and completed documents remain stored securely in your Notary.io account and can be accessed anytime from the Sessions page prior to deletion per your retention policy.
