How to Upload Your Notary Stamp, X509 Certificate, and eSignature
Before you can complete remote online notarizations, you’ll need to upload your official notary seal, X.509 signing certificate, and electronic signature.
- Log in to your Notary.io dashboard.
- On the top-right, click your account drop down and click Edit Profile.
- Locate the section labeled Notary Details.
- Click Upload Stamp and select your official notary stamp/seal image file (usually in PNG or JPG format).
- Click Upload eSignature and upload an image of your signature (can be uploaded, drawn, or typed).
- Click Upload X.509 Certificate and select your valid digital certificate file. This must be in .pfx format.
- Enter your certificate password.
- Save your changes.
Once uploaded, you will be able to apply your credentials to notarizations you perform on the platform.
